Do you want to deepen students’ learning and engagement in your courses while promoting real-world inquiry and problem solving skills? Project-based learning (PBL) is a proven methodology for improving student learning outcomes, academic achievement, critical thinking, and affective abilities (Zhang & Ma, 2023). In this Introduction to PBL, participants will discuss the methodology, consider successful examples from a range of disciplines, and begin exploring how PBL could support deep learning in their courses.
