Student Accessibility Services works with students, faculty, staff, and the campus administration to ensure that the programs, services, and activities of Dartmouth College are accessible to, and usable by, students with disabilities.

Student Accessibility Services provides direct services to undergraduate students. It arranges, coordinates, or facilitates appropriate academic adjustments, program modifications, and auxiliary services to support students’ curricular and co-curricular pursuits. It also serves as a resource to Dartmouth instructors, departments, faculty members, and other staff members as they strive to make their classes, programs, services, and activities accessible to students with disabilities. 

The Information, Technology, & Consulting division provides teaching support through Learning Design, Educational Technologies, and Classroom Technology Services.

The Learning Design & Innovation team supports faculty in the Arts & Sciences with a wide range of services including course design, curriculum development, educational technology use, and best practices for using Canvas, Dartmouth's learning management system. Classroom Technology Services develops, manages, and maintains technology systems that support undergraduate courses, academic conferences, administrative functions, and campus events. They provide specialized in-room support, consultation, and training services to assist the Dartmouth community with the technical and logistical aspects of technology use in classrooms, meeting rooms and collaborative settings across campus. The Dartmouth College Library provides support through subject area specialization, course materials and reserves, reservable teaching spaces, workshops & classes for students, student & research, scholarly publication, copyright, media, book arts, and more.

The Dartmouth Institute for Writing and Rhetoric (IWR) fosters students’ abilities as writers, speakers, and critical thinkers and provides support for faculty who teach writing. The Institute promotes a culture of writing and rhetoric across campus through courses, peer engagement among students, and sustained conversation among faculty. The Writing and Rhetoric Program copmprises faculty from all departments.

The Office of the Registrar maintains students' permanent academic record and provides services for students and faculty in the areas of academic policy, enrollment and course information.

This is an office of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and acts as its proxy by coordinating activities including but not limited to course registration; enrollment pattern (D-Plan) planning; scheduling classes into classrooms; maintaining records of courses offered and grades awarded; certification of students for graduation; and maintenance, protection and release of academic records.

The Dean of the Faculty is the chief academic officer of the Arts & Sciences. The Dean oversees the division’s educational policies, programs of instruction, and all matters relating to the effectiveness, development, and well-being of its faculty.
