Please join us for a workshop and lunch with Adam Finkelstein, Associate Director of Learning Environments (physical and digital) at McGill University. Adam is the 2024 winner of the EDUCAUSE Community Leadership Award, and long-time contributor to the Learning Spaces Rating System.

Building on his keynote, Silos to Insights: Leveraging Learning Space Analytics, this interactive session will provide an opportunity to dive deeper into developing data-informed learning spaces and classroom analytics at Dartmouth..

To make the most of the workshop, we encourage participants to view Adam’s keynote recording and/or review the slides in advance.

Workshop overview:

  • Explore how learning space analytics are used at McGill
  • Develop key questions about classrooms and learning spaces at Dartmouth, tailored by role/department
  • Identify data sources, access methods, and gaps in current analytics
  • Examine the impact of rich learning space data on decision-making
  • Apply the Learning Spaces Rating System (LSRS) as a framework for assessing learning spaces
