At its best, a course syllabus acts as a guide, an explanation, a resource, and an agreement between faculty and students about the course they will undertake together. As academic contexts and institutional policies change over time, the syllabus (and the course it represents) must also adapt to meet these new realities.

In this drop-in session with DCAL and LDI, participants will discuss generative AI and academic integrity in their course contexts, then workshop syllabus language to adequately convey their expectations of students in relation to these institutional requirements in the current teaching and learning moment.
