This one-hour session is for faculty and instructors at Dartmouth interested in learning how design-focused activities and projects can be added to any course to deepen student learning and engagement. Open to all instructors at Dartmouth, this session will cover examples of how design experiences can be used across a range of disciplines (including humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering). Through facilitated (and fun) activities, participants will also begin brainstorming how they might craft engaging student design experiences into existing courses. No prior experience is necessary, and instructors from all disciplines are encouraged to attend. After the workshop, all participants (as well as those who cannot attend) will be invited to apply for small grant opportunities to deepen any course’s learning objectives with design activities or projects!

This session will be held in person. Registration required: https://libcal.dartmouth.edu/event/8361471

If you wish to attend the virtual session instead, please see here.

This event is presented and co-sponsored by the Design Initiative at Dartmouth (DIAD).
