The Intersection of Design and Healthcare: Senior Design Challenge 2019

Senior Design Challenge is a two-term human centered design course at Dartmouth taught by Assistant Professor of Engineering Eugene Korsunskiy. Students work in multi-discplinary teams and collaborate with partner organizations to tackle real world problems. DCAL awarded Korsunskiy and Peter Robbie, Associate Professor of Engineering, with the 2018 Apgar Award for Innovation in Teaching for their design and teaching of the course.

In 2019, the student teams partnered with organizations in healthcare, including Pison Technologies, The Women's Health Resource Center, and the Weight & Wellness Center and the Patient Safety Lab at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Our video series goes behind the scenes of each of these projects to find out more about the projects and student experiences in the course.
