Writing a Diversity Statement

Academic institutions want to hire faculty who are committed to educating a diverse population of students. Addressing diversity, equity, and includion is often part of the required application materials. Come to this session to discuss what to include in your diversity statement to demonstrate your ability to teach and mentor all students.

You will be invited to join a Peer Review session to learn ways to give feedback and review each other's statements after learning about them in the sessions on Writing a Teaching/Diversity Statement.
