Join Katharine Maguire (Office of Community Standards and Accountability) and Jed Dobson (Special Advisor to the Provost for AI) for an informational session on the updated Academic Honor Policy and the current moment in teaching and learning. Bring your questions and add to the discussion on:

  • How has the policy changed, and why?
  • How does the Committee on Standards enact the policy?
  • What constitutes a violation of academic honor, and what does not?
  • What role do faculty have in defining and upholding academic integrity in their courses?

Lunch will be provided. Please register here.

Following the session, join DCAL and LDI to workshop your course policies and syllabus statements to effectively represent your course and reflect your expectations of students in relation to these institutional requirements. Please let us know you’ll drop in by registering for Academic Integrity, Gen AI, and the Syllabus here.

This event is being held in person. Masks are welcome but not required, and lunch will be available "to go" for those who prefer not to eat with others. If you are sick, please do not attend. If you cannot attend due to illness or disability, please email us at least 48 hours in advance at dcal@dartmouth.edu to discuss possible accommodations. Thank you!
