Please join the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning (DCAL) for a Zoom session on Dartmouth’s recent efforts to include student perspective and voice in classroom design and renovation—all are welcome! Cady Rancourt, an undergraduate student at Dartmouth, designed and led three focus group sessions to garner student feedback on Dartmouth’s Classroom Rapid Refresh initiative and the recent renovation of a particular classroom. In this session, Cady and Mike Goudzwaard (DCAL’s Associate Director of Learning Innovation) will discuss the following:

  • The rationale for including student perspectives in classroom design and renovation
  • The design methodology of our focus group sessions
  • A summary of the findings from these sessions
  • How we plan to utilize these findings

This event is hosted via Zoom with automatic captions enabled. To request accommodations, email dcal@dartmouth.edu.
