Registration required.

This workshop is intended to answer questions instructors have about accommodations for disabled students and working with Student Accessibility Services (SAS). For instance, why has the number of students served by SAS grown so much? How are students’ accommodations communicated to instructors? Why is extra time on tests such a common accommodation? How does SAS assist instructors with accommodation implementation? What about students who share they have a disability but aren’t registered with SAS? Are there teaching practices that promote general accessibility?

Participants will be invited to submit specific questions before the session so that it can be tailored to meet their needs.
