Anti-racism is the active process of dismantling the systems, structures, policies, practices, and attitudes that uphold racism and the unequal distribution of power. Anti-racist pedagogy asks us to interrogate and disrupt these same inequities within our classrooms and educational institutions. As such, participants in this workshop will discuss and anti-racist strategies in relation to their own teaching practice. Areas of focus include the anti-racist syllabus and fostering an anti-racist classroom.

This workshop is open to faculty and staff educators from all backgrounds, disciplines, identities, ranks, and depths of experience with anti-racism.

This event is being held in person. If you are sick, please do not attend. If you cannot attend in person due to illness or disability, please email us at dcal@dartmouth.edu to make alternate arrangements. While we cannot promise an equivalent remote experience, we are happy to accommodate. Thank you!
