Resilient courses are those that balance structure and flexibility to facilitate meaningful learning and support student development, even in the face of disruption. The syllabus is an important tool for embedding resilient strategies in your course and conveying those policies, practices, and philosophies to students. In this session, we will consider additions and adjustments you can make to your syllabus to increase your course’s resilience.

Winter Warm-Up Series
This session is part of a short series of programs designed to help faculty prepare to teach in winter term, though the sessions are open to all instructors. Participants may register for as many of the sessions as they wish, and participation in the full series is not required.
