Stamps Scholar Spotlight: Kate Dumanian '18

Through her Stamps project, Kate Dumanian '18 is exploring what drives the modern walker by investigating the connections between literature, history, philosophy, identity, and the act of walking. From pilgrimmages to recreation, Kate says, people walk for countless reasons. "People go out to walk to leave something behind, to wipe the slate clean, to find something they lost a long time ago, because they're restless; they walk for religious reasons, or because religion isn't enough."
