When COVID-19 moved teaching and learning online last spring, Dartmouth's two-term, project-based Senior Design Challenge course was interrupted mid-stream. With students depending on the continuity of the class experience, and partner organizations expecting concrete deliverables from the project teams, instructor Eugene Korunskiy needed to improvise a new course approach quickly. With little expertise in remote teaching and a general uncertainty about how to proceed, the instructor turned to the students and the course's own principles to generate and implement a new design. In this session, Korsunskiy described the process and course experience that resulted from joining with students as co-creators in this collaborative course design experiment.
