This learning community is designed for faculty interested in discussing and supporting mental health and wellbeing in the classroom. Facilitated by DCAL and the Student Wellness Center, this gathering will provide opportunities for faculty to process experiences, raise questions, develop awareness, share strategies, and learn practices for supporting their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of their students. Areas of focus may include trauma-sensitive pedagogy, mindfulness-based interventions, Universal Design for Learning, DEIB, and anti-racist practices, among other topics to be determined by the group that convenes.

Lunch will be provided.

Please register here.

This event is being held in person. Masks are welcome but not required, and lunch will be available "to go" for those who prefer not to eat with others. If you are sick, please do not attend. If you cannot attend due to illness or disability, please email us at least 48 hours in advance at dcal@dartmouth.edu to discuss possible accommodations. Thank you!
