Join DCAL and fellow Dartmouth educators for a winter reading group to explore the principles and practices of anti-racist pedagogy.
Join DCAL and fellow Dartmouth educators for a winter reading group to explore the principles and practices of anti-racist pedagogy.
Anti-racism is the active process of dismantling the systems, structures, policies, practices, and attitudes that uphold racism and the unequal distribution of power. Anti-racist pedagogy asks us to interrogate and disrupt these same inequities within our classrooms and educational institutions.
Meeting four times over the course of the term, this group will read and discuss pertinent materials to inform and advance our work as anti-racist educators.
The group is open to faculty and staff educators from all backgrounds, disciplines, identities, ranks, and depths of experience with anti-racism.
