Join us for a listening circle to connect with colleagues about teaching in the current moment of higher education, national politics, and global events. Listening circles, rooted in indigenous cultures and supported by principles of restorative justice, offer space for expressing, listening, processing, and connecting on events and issues that challenge or affect a community. During this circle experience, facilitators LB White (Student Wellness Center) and Elli Goudzwaard (DCAL) will pose questions to prompt discussion and invite participants to share perspectives, ideas, and experiences. Participants can expect genuine connection with colleagues and a sense of community and belonging. You don’t need to have answers or expertise to participate—just a willingness to show up, reflect, and listen with care.
