The UDL Guidelines are organized both vertically and horizontally. They are vertically organized according to the principles: engagement, representation, and action & expression. Horizontally, they are organized by guidelines that suggest ways to: increase access, build opportunities for learning, and internalize learning strategies. (Cast.org, n.d.)  In this session, we will explore the “access” row of the UDL graphic organizer and consider how the guidelines can help us increase access to our learning goals. This session is for anyone who is interested in making their teaching and learning more accessible through UDL.

This session is part of the Accessible Dartmouth Initiative.
