Getting student feedback early in the term can provide a useful indication of how things are going--for your teaching, for your students' learning, and for the course overall. Midcourse evaluations, when used effectively, can engage students as co-creators of the course experience, uncover gaps in student understanding and progress, and generate useful feedback about how to adjust--while there is still time to do so.
In this session, you will learn about different types of midcourse evaluations and practice crafting useful survey questions specific to your course.
