What do students need most to succeed in remote learning and face-to-face environments during a time of global crisis? What can faculty do to support student learning in a period of continued disruption? In this session, participants will explore what it looks like to design courses with student wellbeing in mind. Discussion will focus on how to incorporate mindfulness practices and evidence-based teaching strategies that bolster students’ capacity to focus, learn, and retain new information.
