Learning Fellows Rewarded in A-Ha Moments

Learning Fellows are talented Dartmouth undergraduates interested in teaching and education who work directly with Dartmouth professors to enhance and streamline classroom learning environments. In class, Learning Fellows help facilitate group problem solving sessions, lead small group dialogues, provide academic support to their peers during lectures and labs, and promote deeper engagement with course material.

"The best thing about this class is that the person working really closely with the students is someone who was in the place of the student a term ago," says Emily Yang '18 of her experience working as a Learning Fellow with Bio 13.

Leigh Goulbourne '17 confirms, "Bringing in that peer interaction is something that is really valuable, and something that I wish a lot of other classes had."

"I love being a Learning Fellow because it just gives me the chance to pay forward the experience I had in the class," says Adina Harri '18. "It’s really rewarding to be able to see that a-ha moment."
