How do we effectively engage students in learning, whether we are meeting in real time via Zoom or holding a discussion on Canvas? This session will explore the interplay between asynchronous and synchronous course components, the strengths and weaknesses of each mode, and how to use them effectively in tandem. Discussion will focus on which components can be assessed and how to build accountability for those that aren’t.
