Teaching large classes requires a set of unique considerations, and can pose unique teaching and learning challenges for faculty and students, during normal times at Dartmouth. With the shift to remote classes this term, the considerations have shifted and new challenges have emerged. Through rapid redesign and ongoing iteration, faculty across many departments have taken on these challenges and gained insight about what works, and what doesn’t, for their large classes in the remote environment.

Join us for an open faculty conversation to hear from others and share what’s working (and not working) for you this term as you’ve shifted to teaching your large class remotely.

Through this conversation, participants will make progress toward:

• Identifying factors that influence pedagogical choices.
• An increased sense of belonging to a community of scholar-educators.
