Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based approach for creating collaborative interactions intended to inspire and evoke reflective decision-making and positive change in others. MI can be an effective tool for advising and supporting students and for establishing engaged learning in the classroom environment. Facilitated by Caitlin Barthelmes, member of the MI Network of Trainers (MINT) and Todd Gibbs of the Student Wellness Center. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
