Course Design Institute

Our goal for this 3-day institute is to help you prepare for teaching your first course at Dartmouth (or for faculty who may want to revise a course already taught).

Wednesday, August 21, 2019
All Day
DCAL, 102 Baker Library
Intended Audience(s): Faculty, Postdoc
Categories: Workshops & Training
Registration required.

Our goal for this 3-day institute (Aug 20-22) is to help you prepare for teaching your first course at Dartmouth (or for faculty who may want to revise a course already taught).  We will focus on elements of course design: learning objectives, assessment, and classroom activities and assignments. In addition, you will learn about the logistical and policy information you need and learn a bit about Dartmouth students and how best to support them. There will be interactive sessions and time for you to work on your course with support from Learning Design, DCAL, and the Library.

To register, go to: http://dartgo.org/cdi. Confirmations will be sent by July 31st. Please plan on attending all three days.
