Promoting the Mental Health of Dartmouth Students

Faculty Discussion

Wednesday, November 1, 2017
3:30pm – 4:30pm
DCAL, 102 Baker Library
Intended Audience(s): Faculty, Public, Staff
Categories: Workshops & Training
Registration required.

Challenges to the mental health of students are many and Dartmouth, like many other colleges & universities, is experiencing high rates of referral for mental health services.  Because faculty are central to the student experience here, it is important that all of our faculties understand the issues involved and the services available to assist students in both preventative and therapeutic modes.   To that end, two DCAL sessions have been scheduled for this fall to promote awareness of these issues among faculty featuring speakers from Dick’s House, the Undergraduate Deans Office, the Student Wellness Center and Student Accessibility Services.

Light refreshments will be provided, please register here: http://libcal.dartmouth.edu/event/3581932
